Carmen Lopez Murguia has been connected to Westside Housing (WSH) for over a decade, serving 11 years on the board before becoming Executive Director in March 2024. A lifelong Kansas City resident, she brings 20+ years of experience in community and economic development. Carmen was VP at AltCap a CDFI and Executive Director at the Hispanic Economic Development Corporation, launching loan programs and supporting small businesses. She remains active in equity-focused community efforts.
